Welcome to the home of Daniels by design

As you will have found so far, your looking at the website of Neil Daniels, born in East Yorkshire and very proud of it. He had a keen interest in Architecture since secondary school. Leading on to develop his interest further studying at Hull College, which included Two GNVQ’s in construction and learning many skills that would become very important later in life.

After completing three years study at what was then the Humberside and Lincolnshire University gaining a BA Honors in Architecture, completing a year out in the industry and then returning to the now renamed Lincoln University for a further two years study full time for the Bachelor of Architecture post graduate Diploma.

It was after completing University he began a journey firstly to indulge in one of his major passions for all things snow related and began snowboarding lessons at the indoor slope at Castleford. Quickly advancing through the lessons and after a few years of riding took the level 1 BASI instructor course and became a qualified instructor.

After a break from Architecture in the Uk after working for DWA Architects for 3.5 years he was made redundent back in 2010, which allowed him to explore other revenues and completed the BASI level 2 snowboard qualification in Bulgaria. Leading to Instructing on the indoor slopes for a few years and doing further snowboard training. Once back in the UK, he also completed a BTEC level 2 Cookery course.

He now lives and works in New Zealand. Where he found a good, work, life balance enjoying a fresh outlook on architectural design. Were the outdoor culture has brought back his passion for everything creative!

During his time in New Zealand, he went onto become qualified as a personal trainer, increasing his knowledge with a precision nutrition level 1 course and started to explore circus and pole dancing. All of which can be read about on the attached links.
